We comply thoroughly with not only the international convention and environment-related law applied to the process of business activity and the requirements of stakeholders such as customer, local community, etc.
We enhance the compliance level constantly responding proactively to the reinforced and enacted environment-related law.

Environmental Impact Assessment

Before promoting new business, identify the impact of business activity on the environment and reflect in the environmental management. In addition, before acquisition and merger of enterprise, identify the environmental risk in all the process of relevant enterprise’s business activities and reflect it in the decision making.

Operation of Environmental Management System

To identify the environmental impact in all processes of enterprise activities such as R&D, purchase, production, construction, transport, sales, utilization, disposal, service provision, etc, establish and operate the environmental management system. Implement the regular management review and the internal environment inspection and improve the environmental management system constantly by reflecting the environment-related law to be reinforced and enacted and the demands of stakeholder.

• Hazard Material: Handle the hazard materials safely complying with the legal requirements from the transport, storage, use, recycling, re-use and to the disposal of chemicals harmful to health and environment.
• Wastes: Minimize the wastes made/incinerated/buried by establishing the waste management system and recourse circulation system.
• Air/water pollutant: For the air and water pollutant, apply the optimal management measure and technology and minimize the environmental impact by complying with the related regulations.
• Energy consumption and Greenhouse gas: Quantify the emission, improve the energy efficiency through the optimum investment and minimize the greenhouse gas emission.

Open Environmental Management

Induce active participation by opening environmental policy and goal to achieve it and the task to be performs to all the stakeholder and implement the transparent environmental management.

Greenhouse Gas Reduction Activity

HL Holding is promoting the activity to reduce the greenhouse gas emission by each business site.
To expand the use of environment-friendly power, we are supplying the energy utilizing solar power and we have reduced the greenhouse gas emission by performing diverse energy saving activities such as replacement with high efficiency facilities and the expansion of energy recycling, etc.
