  • Can you provide a brief overview of the IT role at HL Holdings?

    The IT role involves various tasks and responsibilities related to information technology. It can be divided into four main roles. First, there's the role of planning, constructing, operating IT systems, and improving processes for business innovation and enhancement. Second, there's the operation and management of stable and efficient IT infrastructure. Third, there's the task of deriving insights through data analysis and utilizing AI/Big Data technology to predict the future. Finally, there's the role of applying digital technologies such as RPA, BI, mobile app development, and AI to create a digital culture within the organization and support experts in their usage. Among the IT tasks I'm responsible for, I mainly focus on the security field, specifically handling server security.


    * Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Automating routine tasks using software robots. * Business Intelligence (BI): Applications and technologies that collect, organize, and analyze data in enterprises for efficient decision-making.

  • Can you share a time when you felt the most accomplished in your role?

    The most fulfilling moment was when I resolved security vulnerabilities in servers. Confirming the completion of security measures and the safe operation of servers provides a clear sense of contribution towards protecting the company's information and assets, ensuring stability. Since security threats and vulnerabilities can emerge unexpectedly, continuous monitoring and effort are required. The satisfaction and motivation derived from these tasks serve as a significant driving force for my continuous growth and improvement.

  • What qualities and skills do you believe are essential for performing the IT role?

    The IT role demands various skills and qualities. Technical knowledge and capabilities are essential, requiring a foundational understanding of systems, networks, databases, and more. Additionally, communication skills and creative problem-solving abilities are necessary for collaborating on projects with non-IT colleagues who might not possess technical expertise. Lastly, continuous learning is crucial. Keeping up with rapidly evolving digital technologies and industry trends is essential. An IT professional equipped with these multifaceted skills and qualities can effectively carry out tasks, collaborate smoothly, and continue growing and developing even in a changing environment.

  • IT roles seem to require a lot of specialized knowledge. Are IT professionals mostly from technical backgrounds?

    HL Holdings' IT team comprises not only professionals from technical backgrounds but also individuals with diverse fields of expertise. IT knowledge is an area anyone can learn if they have interest and curiosity. IT tasks often thrive on the fusion of various fields, leading to creative ideas and innovative projects. Just like the synergy between Steve Jobs' aesthetic sense and IT technology gave birth to the revolutionary product, the iPhone.
